The Sussex Grand Prix is now well under way with 6 of the 17 races now completed. With grand performances at the Eastbourne Half Marathon, Hastings Half Marathon, Haywards Heath 10 Mile, Hastings 5 Mile, Horsham5 mile and Rye 10 mile Phoenix is well under way to retain the Men's title and be in the medals for the women's.

Hastings saw another great set of results for the men with Josh Guilmant finishing 1st in 26:10, one of 3 runners in the top 10 (Paul Weir & Donald Maclellan) and 6 in the top 20 (Ash Dorrington, Jonny McCormack, James Miles). Josh, Paul & Donald received the men's title. With 5 women out running the points accumulated.
There followed the Horsham 10km - a shock as many runners who had planned to race were disappointed as the race sold out! Well done to Max Dumbrell for his win and Tom Hooper for finishing 8th & Paul Whelpton 16th.Well done to the 3 women who got a place -Ella Grabsky, Zeina Clare, Sarah Russell).
Sunday 28th saw 16 intrepid athletes make the journey to Rye with sensational results, winning both the men and women's team competition with age group firsts for Donald Maclellan, Caroline Garret, Paul Whelpton and Andrew Haig.
And so....book up those 8 races and don't forget two of them must be 10 miles or longer....
